My journey to becoming a periodontist began on the beautiful volcanic island of Jeju in South Korea, where the ocean views and natural wonders shaped my early appreciation for both beauty and resilience. My academic path led me from UC Davis to the University of Maryland School of Dental Medicine, the world's first dental school, before completing my specialized training in periodontology and implantology at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. When I'm not focused on restoring smiles and oral health, you might find me wandering the streets with my camera, capturing unscripted moments through street photography, or tending to my colorful saltwater aquariums. I believe that the best dental care combines technical excellence with genuine human connection.
